Velocity 2024 Spring Break Camps
We have options for grade 4-10 girls and boys.  Camps take place in Cloverdale, Surrey, BC.
IMPORTANT DETAILS:
Our spring break camps are divided both by level and age.  Please review the level requirements before registering.  It is best for your child if they are in the appropriate level.  Too high or too low of a level will not be as enjoyable or beneficial for them.

Camp Fee: $125
**If your child registers for both weeks of camps, you will receive $40 off the second camp**
Week One: March 18th-22nd
1:30-3:00pm | Level 1 | Grade 4-7
3:00-4:30pm | Level 2 | Grade 6-7
4:30-6:00pm | Level 2 | Grade 7-8
6:00-7:30pm | Level 3-4 | Grade 8-10

Level Descriptions
SELF EVALUATION
Players must meet the minimum listed requirements to qualify for each level below.  Registration is by self evaluation.  No tryouts are required.  If you think your son or daughter qualifies, then they are welcome to sign up!

Level 1
Level 1 includes all players who do not yet meet the requirements for level 2.  Beginners are welcome in level 1.

Level 2
  1. Consistent (at least 70%) underhand serving
  2. Ability to pass or set the ball at least 12 times back and forth with a similarly skilled player

Level 3
  1. Consistent (90%) underhand serving + ability to overhand serve on occasion (10%+) OR ability to serve overhand consistently (70%+)
  2. Ability to call the ball loudly and communicate with teammates
  3. Ability to pass or set the ball at least 20-25 times back and forth with a similarly skilled player
  4. Ability to move 10-15 feet to pass or set a ball, with consistent results.

Level 4
  1. Consistent overhand serving (80%+)
  2. Consistent attacking footwork and timing
  3. Ability to accurately pass an overhand serve within 10 feet of the setter at least 60% of the time.
  4. Ability to set up an attacker consistently, and with no spin.
FINANCIAL AID FOR FAMILIES IN NEED
Funding is available either through organizations such as KidsSport, or through our scholarship fund for families in need.  Between our scholarship fund and through KidsSport, we will be able to cover part or all of the fees for families in need.  We will not let financial barriers stop any young athlete from participating!  Email us for more info.
Volleyball BC Membership
For any athlete who is not already a Volleyball BC (VBC) member, we require that you register as a new member.  Registration costs around $14.  Anyone who is already a VBC member can skip this step.  This membership is valid for any league, camp, or program at any VBC member club.  
When registering, make sure you select YOUTH RECREATIONAL MEMBERSHIP.

Refund Policy:
An 75% refund will be given if an athlete withdraws at least 3 weeks before the start date.  A 75% refund will also be given at any time if a replacement athlete can be found.  Exceptions to the above rules can be made for extenuating circumstances such as an injury.

*Velocity Volleyball Club reserves the right to remove an athlete from a program if it would not be a good fit for them.*
Velocity Volleyball Club is a competitive volleyball club in the BC Lower Mainland.  We are a registered club with Volleyball BC and our elite level club teams compete in the Volleyball BC Provincial Championships.  Velocity Athletes are from Surrey, Langley, Delta, and Abbotsford!
