2024 Velocity Fall Leagues: Grades 5-10.
Our fall leagues are a great way for young athletes to continue to learn the game, while making good friends, and staying active!  The fall leagues are divided up by skill level.  To join the fall league, each athlete needs to be placed in a level.  New players will need to attend a placement tryout, while returning players will be pre-qualified for the league.  Take a look at the chart below for more information about our fall league!
REGISTRATION
New Players:

​There are two options for registration.  You can either register for tryouts AND pay the league registration fee, or only register for tryouts.  We highly recommend paying the registration fee as well to guarantee a spot in the league.
Tryout Only
This is a good option for players who aren't sure whether they are going to participate in the league.  After the tryout, each player will be assigned to a level.  If there is space available at that time, they will be welcome to register.
Tryout + Registration
For any athlete that is sure they want to participate in the league, we highly recommend paying for both the tryout and the full league registration fee.  This way, you will be guaranteed a spot in the league.
Returning Players:
Players who participated in the summer season automatically qualify for the level that they played in during the summer.  Some of the summer athletes will also automatically qualify to move up to a higher level.  Each summer league athlete will be notified individually near the end of the summer season.

​To register, you will still need to use the link above, but you can use the code that was emailed to you to directly register for your level, without needing to register for a tryout.
PLACEMENT TRYOUTS - COMPLETE
Tryouts can sound intimidating, but these ones won't be!  Our tryouts do not cut any players.  The tryouts are to determine team placement so that each athlete can learn and compete alongside similarly skilled players.  The tryout dates are listed below, and during registration, you can select which date you'd like.
  • August 20th.  FULL
  • August 2nd.  FULL
  • Sept 7th.  Completed.
We highly recommend attending the Earlier tryouts.  There will be few spots remaining by September 7th, so some athletes who are only registered for tryouts may not end up receiving a spot.  Any athlete who pays the tryout fee and the league registration fee will receive a spot regardless of the tryout date.
PAYMENT PLAN
The payment plan allows each parent to have a lower upfront cost to allow more players to be able to participate.  When registering, each player is automatically enrolled in the payment plan.  This season, there is a $100 upfront charge, and then two remaining automatic payments each 1 month after the other.  There is an option to opt out of the payment plan if you prefer.

FINANCIAL AID FOR FAMILIES IN NEED
Funding is available either through organizations such as KidsSport, or through our scholarship fund for families in need.  Between our scholarship fund and through KidsSport, we will be able to cover part or all of the fees for families in need.  We will not let financial barriers stop any young athlete from participating!  Email us ([email protected]) for more info.
REFUND POLICY
A 75% refund will be given if an athlete withdraws at least 3 weeks before the league start date of Sept 24th.  This means that the last day to receive a 75% refund would be Sept 2nd.  A 75% refund will also be given at any time if a replacement athlete can be found.  Exceptions to the above rules can be made for circumstances deemed to be extenuating by Velocity VC (such as injuries).

Velocity Volleyball Club is a youth volleyball club in the BC Lower Mainland.  We are a registered club with Volleyball BC and our elite and compete level teams compete in the Volleyball BC Provincial Championships.  Velocity Athletes are from Surrey, Langley, Delta, and Abbotsford!
