The team will begin training in early January. The season ends after nationals in mid May. |
Tryout Dates
Tryouts will take place on November 16th at RE Mountain, 17th at Crescent Heights Academy, and 21st at Crescent Heights Academy. Registration opens on Oct 15th, and the link is available below! |
Training Overviewteam practices
There will be 3 team practices per week. The focus will be on skill development, team culture and connections, and game systems. SCHEDULE: Monday: 5-7pm Tuesday: 6:30-8pm Wednesday: 6:30-8pm *locations TBA Film REview
This is a key aspect of our training. The team will have bi-weekly film review sessions to analyze our gameplay and determine area for improvement, and to help each athlete develop a deeper understanding of the game. Bi-weekly film review is tentatively planned for Fridays before practice. Each session will be 25-30 minutes. |
CoachesHead Coach: Gillian Ramos
Coach Gill has been playing volleyball since 2015 and started coaching in 2020. He is currently coaching Senior Boys and has coached club for 3 years. Scroll down to view a message from Coach Gill! Assistant Coach: Seth Alaba Coach Seth is a recent graduate who has been playing since he was in Grade 9. He won the Best Libero award in 2024 and is excited to bring his game knowledge and perspective to coaching his first club team! |

Our club team athletes will be wearing head-to-toe Mizuno gear. This year's gear package includes the following:
Season fees
The fees for the season will be approximately $2200. This includes tournament registrations, practices, positional reps, film review, insurance, equipment, jerseys, clothing, coach registration and NCCP courses, operating costs, and many other costs. The team fees do not include Volleyball BC registration for each player, and travel costs for the players and coaches. The coach travel costs will be split amongst the players and billed later in the season. Play time
Fair Play rules are in effect at 14u as established by Volleyball BC. This means that in a 2-set match, all players will play a minimum of 1 set in each game. However, if a third set is required, playtime is up to the discretion of the coaches. |
