message from the coach...

I am thrilled to work with this team and am stoked to see our players grow, learn, have fun together! 13u is a great time for boys to kindle their passion for volleyball and acquire the necessary tools to work as a team to accomplish big growth!

As relatively young players, our 13us are developing in their athleticism, technique and pattern recognition. The goals of this team will be to cultivate a deeper understanding of what it means to train hard and push ourselves beyond our limits. We will be learning several systems in volleyball while extending our range by training all positions on the court. Problem solving is at the center of my coaching philosophy and will be at the focal point of each of our practices through the season.

For parents... Club Teams are a significant investment of both time and finances.  If you and your son's only goal is to have fun, there are many cheaper and easier ways to do so.  Yes, our club players will have fun, but we will be learning in a training environment with high intensity and an expectation of excellence. Sometimes this will look like frustration from failing a task, and sometimes it will be laughter at the accomplishment. No athletes (or coaches) are ever perfect, but we are always aiming to be improving.  If you share this aim and vision, we hope to see you at tryouts!

-Coach Graham
